CVGF 2015

Another successful Gourd festival! We want to thank all involved for making this happen.
We had about 400 visitors and the weather stayed dry until after closing time. But it was a gentle rain and most fell after clean-up was done. We also want to thank the visitors for their donations, which will make it possible to organize the festival in 2016. Here are some photos:

First of all, the gorgeous Gourdess of this year Pamela, our Southern Belle. No wonder here costume theme was "Gourd With The Wind"

Saturday weather

Looking forward to another successful gourd festival in Castle Valley this Saturday Oct 17th.
In case of rain we have a covered space we can move into. This will be decided the morning of, before set-up at 8 AM.
Participating artists:
If there’s only a slight chance of rain, we stay out, so please bring some cover, like a pop-up tent which is also needed for sun anyway.
Please do, there’s only little space available in the pavilion for those who do not have such a cover option.
In case of wind, be sure to make your gourds heavy (sandbags or rocks) hen they are open. Secure others.
Last, but not least, please leave your beloved pets at home. The Town of Castle Valley does not allow animals on their lot, which is where the festival takes place. Thank you for your understanding.

Let’s pray for dry weather, however you pray....
